Horizontal Jack & Bore
Horizontal jack and bore is a highly-specialized method of sewer construction that CBG, Inc. specializes in. Our construction crews drill a hole underground horizontally (hence the name) between two distinct points. The intent is to do this without disturbing the area in between the sending and receiving pits. The tools we use work similarly to a jackhammer, using air to pound through the ground to the area below. CBG Inc. has all needed equipment plus 30 years of expertise, and experienced workforce to handle all any horizontal jack and bore jobs in the Columbia, Lexington, Bluffton, Beaufort SC and surrounding areas.
Our crews can install steel casing from 12” up to 36″.
